Accounts Payable Coordinator

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in the educational field in Calgary, Alberta.

Location:

NW Calgary (transit accessible). Office based. Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.

Start date:

ASAP. Contract position until September4,2026.

Compensation: $28.00–$32.00 hourly.

• Process invoices, cheque requisitions, employee expense claims, and honorarium.
• Prepare and process cheques and electronic fund transfer batches.
• Prepare and file T4A forms.
• Process vendor payments, journal entry preparation and input, account analysis and reconciliation.
• Conduct reconciliation and analysis of assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Set up, verify and maintain vendors in the accounting system.
• Prepare and input journal entries and documentation for accounts payable financial transactions.
• Process capital assets in collaboration with the Accounting Coordinator.

• 5 years related experience in accounting or Accounts Payable.
• Bachelor's degree or 2‑year diploma in accounting or related field.
• Strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial statements.
• Solid experience with Sage 300 or equivalent including Sage Intelligence.
• Experience in Student Information Systems (SIS) such as Banner or Elevate (asset).
• Strong MS Office 365 skills with advanced Excel experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently.
