Position: Calgary Senior Accountant Role

As a vital member of our Financial Reporting team, you will assist with the month-end and period-end close, analyze financial data, and enhance internal controls.

Your role supports a diverse array of healthcare services and products at our organization, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end close and prepare complex journal entries

• Investigate variances in financial records for accuracy

• Generate financial reporting schedules regularly

• Liaise with external auditors during engagements

• Drive improvements in reporting efficiency and workflows

Requirements:

• CPA designation and 2+ years' senior-level accounting experience

• Familiarity with EPM tools (One Stream or Hyperion)

• High attention to detail with critical thinking skills

• Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Experience in retail or health sectors is a plus
