Calgary Senior Accountant – Deveraux

At Deveraux, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to enhance our finance team's operations in Calgary. You will report to the Controller and take the lead on financial reporting and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy in daily accounting tasks and reporting

• Prepare and review annual financial statements and tax filings

• Manage remittances for GST, PST, and RST

• Facilitate budget and forecasting preparation

• Provide audit assistance and ad hoc reporting

Requirements:

• 5+ years in accounting, minimum of 2 in public or construction fields

• Proficient in technical accounting and advanced Excel

• Strong multitasking capabilities and solution-oriented mindset

• Experience with construction or project-based accounting is a plus

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
