Shape the financial future of CPKC as a Regulatory Reporting Accountant. With a focus on external disclosures and compliance, you’ll be part of a vital cross-departmental team. This position calls for a detail-oriented accountant with expertise in US GAAP and Canadian regulatory requirements.
You will prepare and review consolidated financial statements while solving complex problems utilizing big data. If you have a passion for process improvement and thrive in cooperative environments, you’re a perfect fit for our team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Canadian regulations
- Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
- Partner with teams to analyze financial data
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial statement preparation
- Proficient in Excel for data manipulation
- SAP, BW, BPC experience is desirable
- Strong problem‑solving abilities
