Position: Accountant for Single Family Divisions
Enhance your accounting expertise by joining as an Accountant focused on our single family divisions. This role supports crucial financial reporting while working closely with the Assistant Controller.

Engaging in a 14-month contract, you will be responsible for month-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, and preparing various reports and filings. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will ensure deadlines are met while building effective relationships within the team and other company divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete month-end journal entries and bank reconciliations

• Generate internal financial statements and GST filings

• Collaborate with the Assistant Controller on special tasks

• Ensure all accounting deadlines are respected

• Develop strong communications within and outside the accounting team

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting required

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Intermediate skills in Excel and Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with Excellent Plains Dynamics is preferred

• Open to using AI tools to enhance efficiency
