Position: Accountant Role
Explore an exciting opportunity as an Accountant at Qualico's Calgary office. This role involves key financial responsibilities, emphasizing precision and collaboration within the team.

As the Accountant, reporting to the Assistant Controller, your main duties will include posting journal entries, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with established standards. You will play a critical role in supporting the accounting team by developing and maintaining internal control procedures while managing year-end reviews and budget preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post accounts payables and receivables entries

• Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements

• Review financial documents for accuracy

• Establish internal control processes for compliance

• Assist with analysis and reporting for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and New Star software

• Effective communication and listening skills

• Positive criminal record check required
