Join Northview as a Contract Residential Accounting Team Lead in Calgary, AB. This pivotal role focuses on financial reporting accuracy and supporting a collaborative accounting team.

As a leader within the Corporate-Finance team, you will guide the residential property accounting team while ensuring compliance and efficiency across financial operations. Your expertise will be integral to month-end close activities, financial reviews, and acting as a liaison between Accounting and Operations divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team

• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes

• Act as liaison between Residential Accounting and Operations

• Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies

• Identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years in accounting, property management preferred

• Experience mentoring junior accountants

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Yardi ERP system

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
