Position: Experienced Project Accountant Role
Join HDR as a Project Accountant focused on project budgeting, invoicing, and collections management across various locations in Canada, including Toronto and Vancouver.

In this position, you'll autonomously manage client invoicing and support project managers with accurate financial tracking.

Your role will involve maintaining detailed contract documentation and coordinating with technical staff to ensure compliance with project requirements. This is an exceptional opportunity to mentor junior accountants and contribute positively to team outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle invoicing and collections for multiple clients

• Maintain and administer project budget documentation

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve financial issues

• Ensure systems comply with contractual obligations

• Assist and mentor less experienced accountants

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent in the field

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with proficiency in MS Office
