Maternity Cover Accountant Position

Take on a vital role as an Accountant during a maternity cover at our dynamic company, starting August 2026. You will handle various accounting tasks, from payroll to reconciliations, ensuring smooth finance operations.

In this temporary position, you will report to the Director of Accounting while participating in month-end closings and government reporting. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with audits and supporting different departments with financial queries. You must be familiar with GAAP and automated financial reporting as you navigate multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly finance and accounting activities

• Participate in month-end close processes and reconciliations

• Issue sales invoices and update CRM for invoicing

• Calculate and submit timely government reporting

• Resolve finance-related queries from various departments

Requirements:

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Experience with automated financial reporting systems

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Experience in the Technology industry is beneficial

• Working towards an accounting designation is a plus
