Assistant Controller

Position: Assistant Controller Role USA
Legacy Kitchens is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead accounting functions for its Canadian and U.S. operations. This position emphasizes month-end close management and team development.

As the Assistant Controller, you will report directly to the Controller and handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams and implementing efficiencies in accounting processes while ensuring adherence to compliance and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the month-end close process and reporting schedule

• Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliation

• Prepare financial statements and analyze variances

• Provide leadership and support to accounting team members

• Identify enhancements for accounting workflow and systems

Requirements:

• Significant experience in a private accounting role

• Proven month-end close and financial reporting experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• CPA designation or in progress

• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Acumatica
