As a Contract Residential Accounting Team Lead, you will oversee the integrity of financial reporting for Northview’s diverse residential portfolio. This role requires leadership in financial close activities, operational support, and process improvement. With a focus on team mentorship, you will also facilitate collaboration between accounting and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and guide the residential accounting team effectively

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Assist in internal financial reporting preparation and review

• Act as liaison for accounting inquiries and issue resolution

• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and controls

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, property management preferred

• Experience mentoring junior accountants

• CPA designation or pursuing one is an asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Yardi experience favorable
