In this position, you will manage financial reporting, compliance, and capital accounting at Canada's largest living history museum. The Accounting Analyst directly supports financial decision-making through comprehensive reports and reconciliations while upholding high standards of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed year-end financial documentation
• Oversee capital asset accounting and monitoring
• File compliance reports for GST and related taxes
• Ensure monthly reconciliations are accurate
• Recommend enhancements for accounting processes
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 3-4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• CPA designation or progress toward it is a benefit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities
