Position: Wilder Institute Senior Accountant Role
Shape the financial future of the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo as a Senior Accountant - Operations. Engage in hands-on capital accounting and compliance management in a dynamic environment.

This full-time role will allow you to collaborate with various operational leaders, ensuring financial accuracy and robust internal controls. You will lead oversight for capital projects, accounts management, and inventory accounting while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage capital accounting and financial reporting

• Oversee procurement card compliance and transactions

• Support accounts receivable functions and efficiencies

• Coordinate inventory accounting and year-end activities

• Lead annual audits and prepare financial statements

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation

• Three years minimum accounting experience

• Knowledge of accounting systems and analysis

• Leadership experience preferred

• Excellent communication and integrity skills
