Intermediate Accountant

Position: Intermediate Accountant at SUMMIT

In this role, you'll collaborate directly with the Director of Finance & Accounting, contributing to financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and accurate reporting across multiple entities. The position requires strong analytical abilities, proficiency in accounting principles, and a passion for collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

• Post journal entries and manage month-end adjustments

• Support month and year-end close processes

• Coordinate annual audits and prepare working papers

• Maintain internal controls and ensure policy adherence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation or in progress, with good standing

• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
