Senior Accountant Cross Border Tax Expertise

Elevate your career on our Cross Border Individual Tax team as a Senior Accountant. You will manage U.S.

-Canadian tax returns and provide strategic tax planning for various clients.

This role focuses on U.S. citizens in Canada, U.S. residents working in Canada, and Canadians investing in the U.S. You will utilize your 2 to 4 years of tax experience to deliver specialized knowledge in cross-border income tax and social security. Your responsibilities will include engaging clients, reporting findings, and mentoring junior staff while advising on tax policy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage U.S. and combined U.S.

-Canadian tax return preparation

• Assist in cross-border income tax and estate planning

• Deliver expertise via client interactions and reports

• Advise on individual tax policy changes

• Collaborate with engagement teams for effective preparation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration

• CPA designation or working towards it

• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience

• Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. income tax

• Experience with accounting and tax software
