Join Interpro Pipe and Steel as a Financial Accountant in Calgary, focusing on monthly closes and financial reporting. Utilize your expertise in GAAP and IFRS compliance.
As part of Orion Steel Group Canada Inc, you will be responsible for a range of key accounting duties. This includes preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and collaborating with various departments. Your analytical prowess will greatly contribute to ensuring strong internal controls and successful audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly accounting close deadlines
• Prepare necessary journal entries and supporting schedules
• Perform account reconciliations and balance analysis
• Facilitate external and internal audit processes
• Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed for operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Expertise in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
