Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist at 7-Eleven
Drive efficiency at 7-Eleven as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Ensure precise vendor payments and uphold financial compliance while providing exceptional service to stakeholders.

In this role, you will manage the complete accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possessing strong organizational skills, and adept at resolving discrepancies effectively. With a focus on excellent communication, you will interact with both internal team members and vendors to ensure a smooth process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately

• Investigate discrepancies with receiving documents

• Generate and post daily payments with approvals

• Maintain organized files and prepare management reports

• Resolve outstanding payables by contacting vendors

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

• Completion of an accounting certificate program preferred

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

• Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis and reporting
