- Maintain and reconcile inventory subledgers, ensuring accuracy across all locations and systems.
- Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and variances; investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
- Support costing activities, including landed cost updates, PO related invoice entry reviews, and cost-of-goods-sold analysis.
- Partner with operations to validate cycle counts and physical inventory results.
- Prepare inventory-related journal entries and month-end close schedules including reconciliations.
- Manage intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Ensure proper elimination entries and alignment of intercompany balances during month-end close.
- Provide oversight and guidance to AP and AR teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Review and approve invoices, credit memos, and payment runs as needed.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and strengthening internal controls within AP/AR workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation required.
- 4 – 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting principles and intercompany processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
