TC Energy is seeking a Pay and Time Analyst in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time role focuses on ensuring payroll accuracy through analytical skills and payroll expertise.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Payroll Services, you'll manage and validate time and pay data for payroll processing. Key responsibilities include investigating discrepancies, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll legislation. The position combines accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to foster seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and validate employee time entries before payroll processing
• Investigate discrepancies in time, pay, and leave impacts
• Conduct time audits and reconciliations for Canada and the US
• Support payroll readiness and ensure accurate data submission
• Process Canadian payroll cycles and ad-hoc off-cycle payrolls
Requirements:
• 4+ years in payroll and time administration
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll practices and CRA requirements
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation required
• Experience with Workday and SAP is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
