Project Accountant

Position: Project Accountant Role
Join our team as a Project Accountant in Calgary, focusing on accounts payable and receivable management. Collaborate with a dynamic accounting team to drive project success.

As a key member reporting to the Controller, you will handle all client billing aspects and ensure compliance with CSOX and IFRS regulations. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage invoicing and client billings efficiently

• Review and validate accrual amounts for accuracy

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Prepare Statutory Declaration forms

• Conduct compliance reviews with Project Administrators

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in accounting required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume accounting

• Solid knowledge of accounts payable and receivable

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Effective communication and negotiation abilities
