Position: Lead Accountant at K2 Space
K2 Space seeks a Lead Accountant to manage the month-end close and enhance internal controls. This role requires collaboration across teams to improve financial processes and reporting compliance.

As a vital part of K2 Space, you will lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and speed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proficient in accounting practices, with over three years of progressive experience. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining compliance and improving business processes company-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close for timely financial reporting

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

• Serve as an accounting resource for operational matters

• Enhance internal controls across business processes

• Maintain and improve financial statement accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel

• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge

• Excellent communication skills for teamwork
