In this internship, you will support Energy Safety Canada, the national advocate for oil and gas safety, while developing crucial skills in various accounting functions. Reporting to the Controller, you will work on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and contribute to month-end close processes. This opportunity is tailored for accounting students looking to gain industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle Accounts Payable transactions accurately
• Record Accounts Receivable entries
• Support cash receipt processing
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Take part in additional accounting responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Currently studying Accounting at a post-secondary institution
• Some prior accounting work experience preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities
