Position: IT Auditor Role at Alberta Electric System
Drive efficiency in governance and compliance as a Senior IT Auditor with the Alberta Electric System Operator. This position supports a hybrid work model, ensuring a balance between collaboration and independence.

You will be integral to the Internal Audit team, reporting to the Lead Auditor and contributing to compliance and operational effectiveness. Your experience in IT audits and solid grasp of audit standards will play a crucial role in assessing the internal control environment within AESO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead internal audits and apply relevant standards

• Facilitate risk workshops to enhance audit focus

• Conduct thorough evaluations of IT and business processes

• Present audit findings to management and stakeholders

• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years in internal audit, focusing on IT

• Expertise in IIA Standards and audit techniques

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with automation and data analysis tools

• Experience with Agile methodologies in auditing
