Accountant Inventory

Position: Accountant for Inventory at Nutrien
Enhance inventory management at Nutrien as an Accountant specializing in Retail and Inventory Accounting. Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and perform critical financial analyses daily.

Nutrien is seeking an Accountant with a BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 0–3 years of experience. You will be responsible for analyzing inventory and gross margin reports, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting regional finance teams. This role involves working with different business areas to uphold high standards in accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily gross margin and inventory reports

• Collaborate with Branch Managers to validate inventory transactions

• Assist in SOX report preparations for internal controls

• Participate in yearly physical inventory counts

• Conduct monthly accounting functions including journal entries

Requirements:

• BS/BA Degree in relevant field

• 0–3 years practical accounting experience

• Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP is a plus

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Integrity and business ethics compliance
