Experienced Accountant in Finance

Elevate your accounting career as an Experienced Accountant specializing in financial reporting and internal controls for Canadian operations. Your expertise will be vital in supporting business growth and compliance.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and play a key role in day-to-day accounting functions. You'll manage month-end and year-end closures, ensuring that the financial records are precise and compliant with IFRS standards. Collaborating with various teams will be crucial to achieving operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies

• Manage fixed asset accounting and capital projects

• Support audit preparation and compliance efforts

• Assist in cash reporting and treasury activities

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of accounting experience required

• Strong understanding of IFRS and reporting standards

• Excel proficiency needed for complex analyses

• Experience in capital-intensive industries is an asset

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
