Position: Corporate Financial Accountant at Blackline Safety

This key role supports our accounting team by ensuring precise financial data and tax compliance. Ideal for candidates with a degree in Accounting and a solid understanding of taxation. Emphasizing collaboration, this position requires engagement with invoicing, accounts receivable, and external tax authorities while improving tax processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and correct tax calculations for Canadian and U.S. invoices

• Reconcile collected taxes and prepare submissions to tax authorities

• Collaborate with the Invoicing team for accurate financial reporting

• Support teams with aging and lease reports, especially during month-ends

• Assist in developing best practices for tax compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting with a focus on taxation

• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in order to cash

• Knowledge of U.S./Canadian sales taxes

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational and communication skills
