This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class ethics management expertise to internally drive the success of our practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll play an integral role in promoting the importance of ethics throughout the Firm, confirming ethical standards are upheld, and ensuring that risks related to quality and compliance are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.

Responsibilities
Work alongside Managers, Directors, and Partners to provide advice on, and support team members with the adoption and implementation of:
The Canadian CPA Rules of Professional Conduct, Codes of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB) Ethics & Independence Rules The Securities Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Auditor Independence RulesEnsure the Firm’s continued compliance with regulatory standards, rules of professional conduct, and internal policiesPlay a key role in coordinating and reviewing client press releases to ensure timely and relevant updates to the Firm’s prohibited investment listingsCollaborate with team members to create high-quality and timely ethics-related thought leadership and training for MNP’s in-house education programContribute to the development of new ideas, education, and approaches to improve work processesAssist in the identification, development, and implementation of technology solutionsMaintain flexibility to travel, as necessarySkills and Experience
Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation2 - 3 years of relevant work experienceWritten and verbal English language skills, with French considered an assetGeneral knowledge of the various Canadian provincial/territorial CPA rules of professional conduct, including the independence and conflicts of interest rulesPragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a reputation for high quality standardsAbility to maintain discretion in recognizing, protecting, and adhering to absolute confidentiality of highly sensitive informationCollaborative and proactive, with proven written and oral communication skillsRelationship building and leadership skillsKnowledge and experience with any of the following are considered an asset:
