Canadian Natural’s Conventional Royalty team is looking for a motivated and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex challenges. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the monthly royalty payment process, including account analysis, reconciliations, and payment execution. Key Accountabilities

Analyze, manage and reconcile royalty payables accounts with timely response to queries

Work with cross functional groups such as Production Accounting, Commercial Operations, Joint Venture Accounting and Legal

Assist with various monthly and annual reporting requirements

Identify and recommend process improvements

Assist with the review and validation of material non-operated annual throughput adjustments

Complete other projects as assigned

What You Bring to the Role

0-4 years of related accounting and/or industry experience with a solid foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and business concepts

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders

Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a detail‑oriented approach to reviewing data and delivering accurate results

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with large data sets and perform basic to intermediate analysis

Previous experience or exposure to the oil and gas or mining industry is considered an asset
