Position: Internal Audit Analyst for Oil & Gas
Join Canadian Natural as an Internal Audit Analyst and contribute to operational excellence in the Oil & Gas sector. This Calgary-based role focuses on enhancing governance and risk management through systematic audits.

As an experienced Internal Audit Analyst, you will bring 3 to 10 years of audit experience to our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include planning risk-based audits, understanding business processes, identifying risks, and executing detailed audit testing. Work collaboratively with management to deliver clear, actionable audit reports that drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute risk-based audits from planning to follow-up

• Develop audit programs based on thorough risk assessments

• Conduct detailed analysis of business objectives and controls

• Document audit work in compliance with standards

• Create impactful audit reports with follow-up actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Professional designation (CIA or CPA) preferred

• 3 to 10 years of oil & gas audit experience

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Initiative-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively
