Whitecap Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst for its Calgary office, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting & Tax. This role will involve managing Canadian, U.S., and international tax reporting, alongside collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate filings. The ideal candidate will continuously seek tax optimization opportunities and contribute to enhancing our tax processes and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly tax provisions accurately

• Manage tax reporting and compliance filings

• Reconcile assessment notices and resolve discrepancies

• Conduct thorough tax research on complex matters

• Maintain organized tax working papers

Requirements:

• Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation

• 10+ years in corporate tax experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate tax requirements

• Familiarity with U.S. tax and transfer pricing

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
