The Role:
The Entry-Level Accountant I – Payables role supports the Administration team by assisting with daily operational and administrative activities, including processing vendor payments and handling ad hoc requests.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and analytical, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong initiative and problem‑solving abilities.
This work opportunity is based out of our Calgary, Alberta head office.
Job Responsibilities:

• Invoice reconciliation and payment
• Match invoices to PO’s
• Monthly PO and ad‑hoc reporting
• Data entry – primarily of invoices
• Shipping items in and out of the inventory software, recording of serial #s.
• Communication with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous accounts payable experience preferred, however a combination of education and experience may be considered
• Post‑secondary accounting education preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with various accounting software
