Sustaining Capital Cost Controller Position

Trans Mountain Corporation is seeking a Cost Controller for Sustaining Capital in Calgary, ensuring effective cost management for capital projects on a contract basis.
This role is crucial for budget development, forecasting, and monitoring costs throughout the capital project lifecycle, with an emphasis on adherence to project governance standards. With a minimum requirement of 10 years in project controls, you will leverage your expertise to support effective change management and financial reporting while collaborating closely with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support preparation of AFE and budget submissions

• Administer project change management processes

• Conduct Earned Value Analysis to track performance

• Develop owner’s cost estimates and resource plans

• Identify cost variances and trends across projects
Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

• 10+ years in cost management for energy projects

• Strong knowledge of AACE best practices

• Advanced Excel and ERP system skills required

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
