Position: May 2027 - Finance Managed Services (CPA) - Summer Internship

If you're an accounting student working toward your CPA designation, this internship offers a launchpad like no other. From early May through mid‑August 2027, you’ll dive into real client work, learning how businesses operate and how trust is built in the market. You’ll be guided by experienced professionals as you learn how organizations identify, assess, and respond to risk, while gaining exposure to our market‑leading AI and digital tools.

These individuals help organizations streamline their operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency by managing key processes and functions on their behalf. They are skilled in project management, technology, and process optimization to deliver high‑quality services to clients.

Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services, along with managing delivery teams, programmes, commercials, performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimizing of the managed services process, tools and services.

As a Finance Managed Services Summer Intern,you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Use a broad range of tools, methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems
  • Use critical thinking to break down complex concepts
  • Use reflection to develop self‑awareness, enhance strengths, and address development areas.
  • Performing your work efficiently while meeting established timelines and budgets.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal teams and clients.

  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g.refer to specific PwC guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:
  • Enrolled in post‑secondary education and working to obtain the Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
  • Demonstrate a self‑starter mindset by proactively identifying opportunities, taking ownership of tasks, while showing flexibility and adaptability to handle ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment
  • Approach projects with a detail‑oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout all stages of the process

  • Knowledge of end‑to‑end accounting process

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn additional tools or platforms.
