Position: Leadership Role in Accounting Supervision
Shape the future of accounting at Avenue Living as our Accounting Supervisor. This leadership role involves managing financial operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

In the position of Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee the accounting function in our Residential division. Key tasks include ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, managing reconciliations, and driving month-end and year-end reporting. We require a motivated leader dedicated to enhancing processes and developing team capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations across regions

• Handle bank reconciliations and investigate issues

• Lead month-end closings and financial reporting

• Work with internal teams and external auditors for compliance

• Mentor team members and enhance their cross-functional skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is advantageous

• Over 5 years of accounting experience; 3 years in a supervisory role

• Comprehensive understanding of financial controls and reporting

• Successful in managing multiple tasks under deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Yardi Voyager experience is a plus
