Project Accountant

Position: Project Accountant at Stantec

In this role, you will directly contribute to financial oversight for project portfolios while reporting to the Project Accounting Lead. Key responsibilities include project financial setups, invoicing, and compliance with internal controls. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial management of projects from setup to closure

• Collaborate with internal teams for exceptional project support

• Ensure project compliance with IFRS and internal standards

• Organize workloads for timely deliverables

• Provide audit support and respond to financial inquiries

Requirements:

• Relevant education in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills

• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge required; intermediate preferred
