Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Our client is a well-established and growing management firm with a diversified portfolio of operating companies across the energy sector. As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join their finance team and take ownership of consolidated financial reporting across multiple operating entities. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this highly visible role will be responsible for consolidating results across the portfolio, preparing accurate quarterly and year-end financial statements, and partnering closely with executive leadership on reporting matters, with strong potential for growth into a senior leadership position within the finance team.

The Manager, Financial Reporting will prepare and review consolidated financial statements, support budget-to-actual analysis, assist with technical accounting matters, and act as a trusted partner to operating company and executive stakeholders, translating financial results into clear, decision-useful reporting. To succeed, you must be a technically strong, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to executives and investors, and advanced proficiency in Excel;

experience with Allvue Systems or similar accounting software is considered an asset.

To qualify, you must hold a CPA designation with 4-5 years of public accounting experience, plus a minimum of 4-5 years of progressive post-designation experience in industry. Experience working across multiple operating entities within the energy sector is strongly preferred.
