Position: Calgary Accountant Position at Jayman BUILT

As part of the Jayman BUILT team, your role will involve comprehensive financial reporting and analysis across Corporate and Investment divisions. Candidates with prior experience in construction or investment accounting and those pursuing a CPA designation will be favored. Your skills will be key in tracking job-related costs and preparing important financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create month-end and year-end financial statements

• Conduct accounting for corporations and partnerships

• Provide management with monthly analyses of finances

• Oversee reconciliations for balance sheet accounts

• Analyze job-level costs for operational insight

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience required

• CPA designation or pursuit highly valued

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency

• Strong communication skills for explaining financial details

• Highly attentive to detail and organizational skills
