Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Accountant to join a reputable Calgary oil & gas organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical production accounting skills and financial systems knowledge. You will be responsible for leading junior team members and ensuring compliance in production and revenue accounting for non-operated assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle monthly production accounting processes

• Prepare and submit Petrinex production reports accurately

• Investigate variances and reconcile financial data

• Calculate and record royalties as per regulations

• Lead month-end close activities and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA designation

• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of oil & gas regulations

• Proven leadership experience in accounting teams
