Crown Royalty Accounting Analyst

Analyze Crown royalty invoices in Calgary using accounting expertise and intermediate Excel skills. Support accurate reporting across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Strathcona Resources Ltd. seeks a Royalty Analyst reporting to the Team Lead, Royalties. The role supports Crown royalty accounting, audits, EOR cost classification, and compliance activities. You will work with Royalty, Production Accounting, Operations Accounting, and other accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer EDI Viewer for Crown royalty invoice processing
Code and analyze monthly Saskatchewan Crown invoices
Process and review monthly Alberta Crown invoices
Support Crown and GCA audits with validated documentation
Maintain royalty schedules and investigate invoice variances
Requirements:
Three to five years of relevant accounting experience
Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries
Accounting, finance, business, or related education is an asset
