Crown Royalty Accounting Analyst

Apply your analytical accounting skills as a Royalty Analyst in Calgary, supporting Crown royalty invoices, reconciliations, and reporting for Strathcona Resources.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Royalties, this role supports Crown royalty activities across Alberta and Saskatchewan. You will analyze invoices, maintain schedules, assist audits, and support EOR cost classification. Collaboration with Royalty, Production Accounting, Operations Accounting, and other teams helps ensure accurate, complete information for reporting and compliance.

• Monitor EDI Viewer data for Crown royalty invoice processing
• Code and analyze monthly Saskatchewan Crown invoices
• Process and review monthly Alberta Crown invoices
• Support Crown and GCA audits with organized documentation
• Maintain royalty schedules and assist EOR cost classification

• Three to five years of relevant accounting experience required
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to reconcile information and identify discrepancies
• Accounting, finance, or business diploma or degree considered an asset
