Reconciliations, foreign currency exposure, and dispute resolution define this Accountant opportunity with Nutrien’s intercompany finance activities.
As an Accountant, you will help ensure accurate transactions between legal entities and maintain clear explanations for balance sheet differences. The work includes monthly account reconciliations, payment proposal validation, agreement documentation, and escalation support for unresolved disputes. Nutrien seeks a designated professional with three years of relevant experience, IFRS knowledge, advanced Excel capability, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Review consolidated intercompany balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve intercompany reconciliation variances
Validate payment proposals and track unpaid balances
Support business dispute resolution and escalations
Review intercompany agreement terms and maintain documents
Requirements:
Professional accounting designation with three years’ relevant experience
Knowledge of IFRS is necessary
Advanced level Excel skills
Excellent time management and communication skills
Flexibility with changing priorities and deadlines
Bring disciplined reconciliation, communication, and foreign currency analysis skills to Nutrien’s intercompany accounting and dispute resolution work.
