Accounting Assistant Billing Receivables

Support billing and accounts receivable at Litco LSO, using reconciliation and payment processing skills within its Financial Services team. This role supports accurate legal file accounting.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant helps process billing, payments, settlements, and trust transactions. You will work with legal teams, clients, lawyers, and external parties while maintaining financial records and documentation. Your work supports efficient claims processing and timely file administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile trust accounts daily
Process customer payments and deposits
Calculate billings and allocate fees, disbursements, and trust transactions
Post vendor bills to specific client files
Resolve outstanding trust balances with legal teams
Requirements:
One to two years of accounting support experience
High school diploma required
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power Point
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
