SAP master data and accounting are central to this early-career analyst position in Calgary. Support accurate project reporting and daily business processes.
As an early-career Accounting Analyst, you will support the Master Data Management and Capital Accounting team at PETRONAS Canada. The work combines SAP data maintenance, reconciliations, asset information, and month-end accounting processes. You will collaborate with Finance and operational teams while developing business-system knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Create, update, and review SAP master data
- Complete data-quality checks and investigate differences
- Maintain asset and project-related information
- Support settlements, distributions, overhead, and cutback processes
- Document procedures and governance records
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Intermediate understanding of accounting concepts
- Exposure to SAP is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
