Summary:
At PwC, the Document Production Services Specialist reports to the Regional DPS Manager. The DPS Specialist works in a collaborative, team-focused environment to support the delivery of high-quality documents and/or financial statement requests for Partners and staff across all lines of service. Key attributes include a positive, customer‑centric, proactive can-do attitude; strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills; and close attention to detail.
The role requires working accurately and/or creatively within established visual and written identity standards. The ability to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly to changing demands and deadlines, and leverage AI‑powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatPwC) to enhance productivity, streamline workload, and improve output quality is essential.
- Format and edit templated documents (e.g., letters, reports, and financial statements)
- Format, edit, design, and create PwC branded and non‑branded documents (e.g., presentations, proposals, marketing, and other digital materials)
- Manage PDFs in Kofax or Adobe Acrobat to create, edit, combine, and/or apply secure firm signatures
- Act as a brand ambassador; understand and promote the Firm’s brand strategy (verbal, visual and written identity guidelines)
- Adhere to Firm risk management standards to ensure the protection and confidentiality of documents and data
- Work within the Service Now platform to manage and complete requests from internal clients
- Collaborate with Partners and staff and offer guidance on templates, best practices and/or innovative design solutions while adhering to brand and compliance guidelines
- Exceptional eye for detail—review own work and that of others to ensure high‑level accuracy, formatting/brand consistency and error detection in all documents
- Deliver high quality output by managing client expectations and delivering to or negotiating deadlines
- Provide backup coverage for teammates and support a one‑team culture by flexing as a cross‑functional resource to manage deadlines during peak periods
- Demonstrate a leadership mindset and commitment to continuous learning; support adoption of new firm technologies (AI), policies, and procedures; and contribute to team activities, firm‑wide initiatives and strategic priorities
- Continuously stay informed on emerging AI capabilities and assess their applicability to enhance service delivery
- Experience supporting a fast‑paced team, or comparable technical and document production/desktop publishing/design experience
- Post‑secondary education and relative work experience is required (i.e., MS Office Specialist/Desktop Publishing/Graphic Design)
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Kofax/Adobe PDF tools and other firm technologies as required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively fostering a team environment and combining individual strengths to enhance team performance
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and initiative by proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions and acting on opportunities to enhance client service
- Strong client‑service mindset when supporting internal and external clients, consistently demonstrating the firm’s values, professionalism, discretion, integrity, and tact
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and excellent English (spelling, grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and editing)
- Excellent judgment and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and take appropriate action in ambiguous situations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and perform well under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in a highly technical, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, and evolving digital environment
Salary range: $45,800 – $76,300 (posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres).
