Position: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant – Insurance Services

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer‑focused Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our growing insurance practice. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering exceptional client service while supporting our advisors and administrative team.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional client service through telephone and email communications.
  • Assist advisors and team members with administrative and communication‑related tasks.
  • Process and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and correspondence.
  • Assist team members with data entry into Access database.
  • Prepare and maintain documents using Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe PDF.
  • Support office operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Eagerness to learn about insurance products, services, and industry practices.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Confident and approachable personality with a positive sense of humor.

Previous insurance industry experience or knowledge is preferred.

Reliable car is required.

Free on‑site parking.

This is an in‑office position, 4 days per week, 6 hours a day.

Office is in the SE, applicant must reside in the SE, SW, or NE.

Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
