Join the University of Calgary as a Full-time Executive Assistant, providing strategic support for Indigenous Engagement initiatives. This role emphasizes collaboration within Indigenous-focused projects.
In this pivotal role, you will assist the Vice-Provost (Indigenous Engagement) with high-level administrative duties while coordinating key projects and activities. You will ensure robust communication and planning for Indigenous initiatives, contributing to the success of programs impacting Indigenous students and communities. Your organizational skills will be essential in maintaining records and supporting essential stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Vice-Provost’s calendar and correspondence
• Coordinate financial and administrative activities
• Support documentation and reporting for strategic goals
• Organize community gatherings and Indigenous activities
• Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years in executive support roles
• Experience in project coordination for academic or community initiatives
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and collaborative platforms
• Commitment to Indigenous engagement and reconciliation
