Job Description  Administrative Support IV is a multi‑skilled position supporting the Rural West Integrated Home Care (IHC) team within the Calgary Zone. The role provides advanced administrative support to the Area Manager, Care Managers and the interdisciplinary team members including Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Health Care Aides. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, correspondence, appointments, records, client scheduling, office systems, supplies, and billing activities;

serving as a resource for departmental policies, procedures and administrative processes; coordinating complex schedules, organising meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, reports and correspondence; responding to client and operational inquiries; maintaining personnel files, departmental forms and emergency manuals; supporting workshops, training initiatives and onboarding activities; maintaining data integrity, generating reports, compiling statistics and updating information systems; and handling staff scheduling and payroll responsibilities such as applying collective agreement provisions, assigning relief staff, processing payroll transactions, resolving discrepancies and coordinating orientation and training requirements with the Workforce Management Liaison.

Required Qualifications   Some post‑secondary education.

Required Qualifications   Two years experience in medical office administration within an acute care hospital setting and/or one to two years of Home Care experience.
Knowledge of Continuing Care–Home Care processes.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Advanced computer skills, accurate data entry and familiarity with standard office equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused approach.
Exceptional organisational, multi‑tasking and problem‑solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
Sound judgement, critical thinking, conflict resolution, flexibility, initiative and the ability to make timely decisions in changing situations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and consistently adhere to organisational policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications   

Experience with Connect Care, Workforce Management (WFM), payroll, scheduling and time‑keeping systems.
Related healthcare administration or scheduling experience.
