Responsibilities
Job Knowledge and Expertise:
Thorough understanding of collision repair processes
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Mitchell, Audatex)
Knowledge of parts sourcing and ordering procedures
Ability to accurately read and interpret damage reports
Familiarity with insurance company protocols and guidelines
Customer Service and Communication:
Clearly communicate repair details and plans to customers
Demonstrate professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers
Effectively manage customer expectations
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
Efficiency and Time Management:
Provide accurate and timely repair plans and estimates
Meet deadlines for estimate and plan submission
Prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
Teamwork and
Collaboration:
Collaborate with technicians to ensure plan and estimate accuracy
Demonstrate willingness to assist teammates when needed
Maintain a positive attitude in team settings
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Collision Repair Estimator/Planner
Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and estimating software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
