Service Technician in Electric Vehicles

Elevate your career at Lucid as a Service Technician, tasked with diagnosing and repairing innovative electric vehicles. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and a commitment to sustainability in automotive engineering.

As a vital member of the service team, you will draw from 2-5 years of relevant experience in diagnosing HEV and EV systems. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed repairs, instruction of technical skills, and supporting our mobile service teams when necessary. ASE certifications must be achieved within six to eight months of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics on both mechanical and electrical systems

• Maintain High Voltage and Low Voltage system knowledge

• Document repairs through established procedures

• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers

• Participate in mobile service operations as required

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in automotive service technology

• Familiarity with electric vehicle systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Completion of EPA 609 Certification

• Must have a valid, clean driver’s license
