Your area of focus.
The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high‑quality service.
What drives your day-to‑day?
- Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
- Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
- Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge‑free
- Detailing interiors: wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
- Apply paint sealant
- Clean and polish wheels and rims
- Use a variety of hand‑held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
- Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of the car that require repair or replacement
- Complete a quality‑control checklist
- Perform other repair duties as required
What are the must‑haves…
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in the automotive industry, and knowledge about vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
- Dependable, reliable, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Physical capacity to lift heavy items, stand for long periods of time, and use power tools and hand‑held equipment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
